Kalix® HPPA Material Properties
Core characteristics: Environmental protection-oriented, some models use bio-based raw materials (such as castor oil-derived monomers), and have hydrolysis resistance and food contact safety certification (FDA, EU standards).
Typical grade:
Kalix® 2555: 55% glass fiber reinforced, tensile strength of 260 MPa, excellent surface finish, used in electronic equipment housings.
Kalix® 2930 HFFR: Halogen-free flame retardant grade, in line with UL 94 V-2 standard, suitable for precision electronic components.
Application areas: medical equipment (dialysis components), smart phone frames, food processing machinery.
Processing Performance
The rapid crystallization characteristics of Kalix®HPPA shorten the molding cycle, and the molding thickness of thin-walled parts can be as low as 0.4 mm. Suitable for various molding processes including:
